WHAT IS ROOF SPRAY PAINTING?
Roof spray painting in Dorset is a proven alternative to a full re-roof. Using specialist airless spray equipment and high-build liquid coating systems, our Dorset team restores existing industrial and commercial roofs to a fully watertight condition, sealing pinholes, treating lap joints and bonding a continuous protective membrane over the entire roof surface. The result is a refreshed roof that looks new and performs better than the original.
Colorkote are approved partners for Tor, Giromax, AkzoNobel and HD Sharmans, the leading UK roof coating manufacturers. That partnership means we can offer Dorset clients warranty options ranging from 10 to 30 years, including the market-leading Tor Elastaseal Z system designed specifically for live commercial sites where zero odour and zero leaks during application are critical.

WHY ROOF SPRAY PAINTING IS ESSENTIAL
Protects Surfaces from Corrosion & Wear
Wind, rain, UV and decades of weather are constantly attacking your Dorset roof. Spray-applied roof painting gives it a fresh, continuous, waterproof skin that bonds to every sheet and joint, keeping water out, oxygen out, and corrosion firmly in check.
Improves Safety & Compliance
A failing roof at your Dorset site is not only an asset issue, it is a safety, insurance and compliance issue. Our spray-applied roof coatings restore a sound waterproof envelope, eliminate leaks and bring the roof back into full compliance with your insurer's expectations.
Extends Asset Lifespan
A correctly specified roof spray painting system extends the life of your Dorset roof by up to 25 years, often outlasting many new-build roofs of similar specification. It is the highest-return, lowest-risk way to defer your next capital roof project.
Enhances Professional Appearance
Roof spray painting is the fastest way to give a Dorset building a complete visual lift. A fresh, uniform topcoat in your corporate colour signals to clients, tenants and customers that the asset is well managed and well maintained.
Cost-Effective Refurbishment
The economics are simple. Roof spray painting in Dorset costs significantly less than full replacement, takes a fraction of the time, generates almost no waste and lets the business below stay fully operational throughout. It is the most cost-effective roof refurbishment available.

OUR ROOF SPRAY PAINTING PROCESS
Step 1: Initial Consultation & Site Survey
Step one is a free, detailed site survey at your Dorset premises. We climb, drone or MEWP the entire roof, document every defect and finish with a manufacturer-backed specification, programme and fixed-price quotation.
Step 2: Surface Preparation
Surface prep is what makes the warranty stand up. On every Dorset roof, we pressure wash, fungicidally treat, repair fixings, treat any rust and apply the correct manufacturer primer before topcoats go on.
Step 3: Roof Spray Painting Application
Our Dorset team spray-applies the chosen manufacturer's roof coating system in the agreed colour, building up the correct dry film thickness in carefully sequenced coats to lock in the full warranty.
Step 4: Quality Checks & Final Handover
Once the new roof is fully cured, our Dorset team carries out a final inspection, signs off the works, photographs every elevation and issues your manufacturer warranty and Insurance Backed Guarantee.
Our projects

Sky London Campus
Sky – Sky 2 / Sky 4
Colorkote has successfully completed a number of large scale spraying and painting projects for Sky within their London Campus. Due to the construction of the new Flagship Sky Central office complex including studios, a number of existing buildings were looking tired and due to the high profile visitors that Sky attracts they wanted these buildings re-coated and brought up to date.

London
Residential Blocks
This group of 10 blocks of flats are undergoing full window replacement. The surrounding wooden fascia, soffits and shiplap boarding required full decoration to match the new wooden windows. All the 105 flats are occupied, meaning all works had to be carefully programmed to cause minimal disruption to the residents. All works were completed using fixed scaffolding supplied by the main contractor.

London
Waste Recycling Plant
The site was a blight on the landscape being a very large building of bright colour. The client wished to tone down the building to blend in with the local landscape. A 10 yr warranty was requested on the completed work, and the building required very specialist high-level access, especially for the chimneys. Additionally the site needed to remain fully operational with hundreds of lorry deliveries daily.
