WHAT IS ROOF SPRAY PAINTING?
Roof spray painting in Kent is the cost-effective way to give an ageing industrial or commercial roof a brand new lease of life. Our Kent team spray-apply high-performance liquid coatings directly onto your existing roof, sealing every sheet, joint and lap into a continuous waterproof membrane. Leaks stop, rust is sealed in, faded colours are restored, and the roof gets a fresh, manufacturer-backed warranty of up to 25 years.
Colorkote work with the UK’s leading roof coating manufacturers (Tor, Giromax, AkzoNobel and HD Sharmans) so we can specify and apply the system best suited to your Kent building, your warranty requirements and your budget. Available in 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 year specifications, our roof spray painting service in Kent is the proven alternative to a full, disruptive and expensive re-roof.

WHY ROOF SPRAY PAINTING IS ESSENTIAL
Protects Surfaces from Corrosion & Wear
Years of UK weather, UV and atmospheric pollution take their toll on every Kent roof. Roof spray painting bonds a continuous, high-build protective coating across every sheet, sealing weak spots, stopping rust before it spreads and restoring a fully waterproof envelope.
Improves Safety & Compliance
A failing roof at your Kent premises is a HSE and insurance problem waiting to happen. Spray-applied liquid waterproofing seals the entire roof, eliminates leaks at source and restores the kind of envelope integrity that satisfies tenants, insurers and inspectors alike.
Extends Asset Lifespan
Roofs in Kent typically reach the end of their original waterproof life long before the steel underneath gives up. Roof spray painting unlocks that remaining structural value, adding up to 25 years of guaranteed waterproof life and dramatically extending the useful life of the whole building.
Enhances Professional Appearance
A roof spray painting refresh transforms how a Kent building looks from above and from the road. Faded sheets are restored to a sharp, uniform colour, and brand colours, signage and corporate identity can be picked up at roof level for maximum impact.
Cost-Effective Refurbishment
The economics are simple. Roof spray painting in Kent costs significantly less than full replacement, takes a fraction of the time, generates almost no waste and lets the business below stay fully operational throughout. It is the most cost-effective roof refurbishment available.

OUR ROOF SPRAY PAINTING PROCESS
Step 1: Initial Consultation & Site Survey
We carry out a full roof inspection at your Kent site, including drone or ladder access where required, to assess the substrate, lap joints, fixings, rooflights and rainwater goods before specifying the right roof spray painting system.
Step 2: Surface Preparation
Our Kent team strips dirt, moss, algae and chalk from the existing roof, repairs any failed fixings or lap joints, treats cut edge corrosion as required, and applies a bonding primer ready for the new coating.
Step 3: Roof Spray Painting Application
We spray-apply the specified Tor, Giromax or AkzoNobel system in your chosen RAL colour, building up the dry film thickness to manufacturer warranty levels across every roof sheet in Kent.
Step 4: Quality Checks & Final Handover
We close out every Kent roof spray painting project with a full QA inspection, before/after photography, warranty documentation, an IBG where applicable and a long-term maintenance plan.
Our projects

Sky London Campus
Sky – Sky 2 / Sky 4
Colorkote has successfully completed a number of large scale spraying and painting projects for Sky within their London Campus. Due to the construction of the new Flagship Sky Central office complex including studios, a number of existing buildings were looking tired and due to the high profile visitors that Sky attracts they wanted these buildings re-coated and brought up to date.

London
Residential Blocks
This group of 10 blocks of flats are undergoing full window replacement. The surrounding wooden fascia, soffits and shiplap boarding required full decoration to match the new wooden windows. All the 105 flats are occupied, meaning all works had to be carefully programmed to cause minimal disruption to the residents. All works were completed using fixed scaffolding supplied by the main contractor.

London
Waste Recycling Plant
The site was a blight on the landscape being a very large building of bright colour. The client wished to tone down the building to blend in with the local landscape. A 10 yr warranty was requested on the completed work, and the building required very specialist high-level access, especially for the chimneys. Additionally the site needed to remain fully operational with hundreds of lorry deliveries daily.
